Li Yang holds a Bachelor of Laws from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and a Master of Laws and a Doctor of Laws from Peking University. He is currently a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School of China University of Political Science and Law. He also serves as Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Research Society of the China Law Society, is a Fifth-Term Specially Invited Advisor of the Supreme People's Court, and a Researcher at the Supreme People's Court's Intellectual Property Judicial Protection Center. He has published numerous articles in journals such as *Chinese Journal of Law* and *China Legal Science*, and has authored several books published by Legal Press and China Social Sciences Press, including *Basic Principles of Trademark Law*, *Basic Principles of Copyright Law*, and *Intellectual Property Law from the Perspective of Policy Science*.
