Ji Liechao serves as the Licensing Director in the Strategic Cooperation Department of Xiaomi Group. A certified patent attorney with 15 years of experience in the intellectual property field, he has been engaged in a wide range of patent-related work including search, prosecution, invalidation, litigation, acquisition, and licensing. Prior to joining Xiaomi, he worked at Zhigu, Haier, and a patent agency. Since joining Xiaomi, he has led multiple global Standard Essential Patent (SEP) licensing projects, accumulating deep theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in SEP licensing and FRAND principles.
