Ms. Cheng Shuang holds a patent attorney qualification and has nearly two decades of experience in the intellectual property field, with comprehensive expertise spanning patent search, application, invalidation, litigation, acquisition, and licensing. During her tenure at Xiaomi, she led global licensing projects involving nearly USD 1 billion, accumulating profound theoretical knowledge and practical experience in SEP licensing and FRAND rate determination.

 

She enrolled in the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University in 1999 and obtained her master's degree in 2006. After graduation, she worked at Tongli Juncheng and Star-net Ruijie, specializing in patent agency and patent management. In 2013, she joined the IP operation company Zhigu Invention, which was later fully acquired by Xiaomi, becoming a core member of Xiaomi's IP strategy team.
